// How to install to and run from steam deck SD card
- switch to desktop mode
- open dolphin (file manager)
- download and extract to your SD card
- var/run/media/mmcblk0p1
- execute GZ1_x86_64
- make sure your controls are set to game pad (otherwise you may get some weird behavior)
- On the desktop, go to the Steam client
- click the “add a game” button in the lower left corner
- click ‘add a Non-Steam game’
- browse to the file in var/run/media/mmcblk0p1
- you may need to show all files
- add selected programs
- This app will now show up in the Deck UI library under the ‘non-steam’ tab.
- find the game and select options > Properties to rename
- you should be able to play it like any other game
- if for some reason, it doesn't seem to launch the first time, you might try restarting or steam (I had to).
